SOLFIGA is a specialty PPS compound family that combines HDC POLYALL PPS with TEIJIN compounding technology and functional materials such as carbon fiber, aramid fiber, special conductive fiber, and PC/PET resin. Technical properties

PPS carbon fiber reinforced grade

This grade combines HDC POLYALL PPS, TEIJIN carbon fiber and TEIJIN compounding technology to support weight reduction, strength, low water absorption and dimensional stability.

  • YJ-0030 targets a balance of strength and specific stiffness.
  • Water absorption is 1.3 when PA66/CF is set to 100.

PPS aramid fiber reinforced grade

This grade combines HDC POLYALL PPS with TEIJIN aramid fiber characteristics, and is positioned for wear reduction when sliding against soft metals such as aluminum.

  • YJ-0010 is a PPS/AF grade for sliding and wear conditions.
  • Teijin PPS/AF shows low abrasion loss: 7.0 for resin and 0.5 for aluminum.

YJ-0030 is positioned above general GF-reinforced PPS and aluminum in specific strength and stiffness. It is useful when weight reduction and structural strength must be reviewed together.
