Recycled Content: ECO-R Polyamides Our industry leading polyamide portfolio is expanding its range of ECO-R recycled grades for Zytel PA and Frianyl PA. Celanese utilizes feed streams for recycled content deriving from post-industrial waste (PIR) that provide consistency, quality and performance across our range of PA ECO-R products. The mass balance solution ECO-R grades are ISCC+ certified with identical quality and performance properties that enable drop-in replacement. Biobased Content: ECO-B Polyamides Zytel PA66 and Frianyl PA66 ECO-B offer a drop in place sustainable option for the majority of the portfolio; no requalification required. The bio-circular feedstock is second generation biomass – waste based. Renewable feedstock and mass balance are independently 3rd party audited and certified (ISCC+). More broadly, the polyamide product line contributes to sustainability by enabling OEMs and Tiers to design lighter-weight and longer-lasting products compared to alternatives such as metal or other lower performance polymer materials.
