Polifor PP

Polifor PP

Polypropylene

Polifor Polypropylene, is a thermoplastic used for injection molding parts in a wide number of applications. The advantages of polypropylene include easy processability and ability to be modified through a range of reinforcing agents, impact modifiers and additives, making it an ideal polymer across many uses.

Overview

Product overview

What is Polypropylene?Polypropylene is the third most-widely used thermoplastic polymer at a global scale. The Polifor range includes both polypropylene homopolymer and copolymer compounds that are variously modified, filled, reinforced, flame-retarded, enriched with additives and colored. Polypropylene pp is often leveraged in the automotive, interior design, illumination design, building and leisure industries.

Why Polifor?Polypropylene compounds are the ideal solution for a wide number of applications requiring a strong cost to performance ratio. Our polypropylene chemical formulations were developed through a ten-year R&D process, based on close cooperation with customers, which today allows the company to successfully meet the major challenges in different applications. As a major supplier of polypropylene compounds, we ensure all materials comply with the RoHS norm requirements. The natural disadvantages of polypropylene, such as post-molding shrinkage and low resistance to weathering or flames, can be easily overcome by using mineral fillers, glass fibers and thermostabilizing additives, which can significantly improve its resistance to UV-rays, fire and the most aggressive lyes.
